The former Westpac head of strategic initiatives, Keith Miranda, has joined Citi Australia's retail banking team. He will serve as head of investment partnerships.
At Westpac, Miranda was head of strategic initiatives for digital and marketing channels. He also was the head of migrant banking and international customers.
This is a return to Citi for Miranda, who previously spent time with the organisation's executive development program and in the wealth management space.
In his new role, Miranda will front the investment partnership team, growing Citi's retail banking relationships via referral partners. He will also promote the expertise of Citi's wealth management business.
Citi Australia's head of retail banking, Kate Luft, said, "We are proud to be growing our retail banking business in a market where many wealth managers are facing a period of uncertainty.
"Peter [Forrest, head of banking products] and Keith have extensive financial services experience, and will be an asset to the team. They are well-placed to help us meet our growth appetite for 2020."
