Christian Super reorganises executive team, adds responsibilities to chief member officer

Christian Super has reorganised its executive team following an internal review of their processes and needs, creating a new role and adding new responsibilities for their chief member officer.

Nathan Buttigieg has been named chief operations and product officer.

Buttigieg has been with the $1.7 billion fund for just under 12 years. He started in a claims and member services role, moved into risk and compliance, and became chief member officer in 2015. Before joining Christian Super, Buttigieg was a paraplanner with Criterion Financial Solutions.

In a statement, a Christian Super spokesperson told Industry Moves that, "In his new role, Nathan will retain responsibility for advice and education, product development, and employer engagement, and will assume responsibility for administration, insurance, technology and contracts, and business development."

Some of Buttigieg's chief member officer duties were split off and given to Astrid Dare, who was promoted from the fund's head of marketing and brand role to the new chief member engagement officer position.
