Change of roles for licensees head at BTFG

A spokesperson for BT Financial Group has confirmed to Industry Moves that Phil Butterworth will move from the role of general manager of BT Group Licensees to lead the adviser distribution team from July 2.
The appointment follows the departure of Jo Moxey who, in an email to clients and advisers, said that she had "decided to pursue another opportunity within the Westpac Group".
Butterworth, who joined BT Financial Group in 2012, was promoted to his current role in December 2014. Prior to joining the firm, he led DKN Financial Group for more than eight years.
Ashley Stewart will, in turn, take over as head of BT Group Licensees alongside his current role in Private Wealth.
