Chair to step down at IAG

Brian Schwartz is retiring from the Board of IAG after 11 years of service and seven years as chair. His successor is Elizabeth Bryan who was appointed as a director in December 2014 and deputy chair in June 2015.

Commenting on his departure, Schwartz said: "I am honoured to have led IAG and I am pleased to have someone of Elizabeth's calibre succeed me as Chairman. Her depth of experience in leading some of Australia's most successful companies will be extremely valuable to IAG and its management team. I know I am leaving the company in capable hands."
