CFS adds former Schroders CEO, director to board

Colonial First State and Avanteos Investments Limited have added Greg Cooper as an independent non-executive director to their respective boards.

Cooper has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, including as the CEO of Schroders Australia from 2006 - 2018. He's since become a director on boards including Perpetual Limited, the NSW Treasury, and OpenInvest Holdings Limited.

Cooper will bring his commercial experience to help the organisation focus on member outcomes.

CFS chair Anne Ward said that she's delighted to welcome Cooper to the organisation. "With his significant experience in financial services and investment management, Greg will bring a deep understanding of superannuation fund performance that will support our work to deliver better outcomes for our members."
