Centrepoint adds national recruitment manager

Centrepoint Alliance has appointed former MLC Wealth business growth manager Charles Smith to lead its national recruitment strategy. "Centrepoint Alliance continues to attract the attention of both licensed and self-licensed advisers and I am looking forward to contributing to the business' continued growth," Smith said.

In his most recent role, Smith was responsible for recruiting self-employed financial advisers into MLC licenses. He previously held management roles with ING Direct and the ANZ banking group.

Smith's appointment is in response to interest from firms exploring licensing options, according to Centrepoint's advice group executive Paul Cullen. Welcoming Smith to the organisation, Cullen said Smith's knowledge and experience will help businesses make the right choice for their needs.
