AustralianSuper's business partnership and education manager has landed at Cbus Super as an employer engagement consultant.

Before his two years as the country's largest superannuation fund, Brad Dobson spent over five years at LUCRF Super as a business development manager.

Incidentally, AustralianSuper and LUCRF Super merged in 2022, combining the nation's first superannuation fund with its largest one.

At the time, LUCRF Super managed around $7.4 billion.

Cbus Super's group head of member services, Cath Noye said Dobson's extensive experience in the industry superannuation sector will provide further insights for Cbus' already strong employer engagement capability.

"Cbus has long focused on providing support for its employers, understanding that they are a critical component of our members' experience of their journey with their superannuation," she added.

"Importantly, the team provides a direct contact point for administrative assistance and collaboration with employers to undertake activities seeking to maximise their employees' superannuation outcomes."

Cbus Super recently announced a strong return of 9.49 per cent for its growth (MySuper) investment option over the 2023 calendar year.

This result takes the 10-year average return of that option to 7.60 per cent per annum as of 31 December 2023.
