Cbus Group Executive departs

Cbus has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of Michelle Murray from the role of group executive - enterprise transformation, effective March 2018.

Murray first joined the $40 billion fund in September 2017 from NAB where she was executive general manager, enterprise projects & change. Prior to that, she led teams with AMP, Maybank and ANZ.

Speaking to Industry Moves, Cbus CEO, David Atkin said that Murray decided to resign from Cbus to "pursue other opportunities that align more closely with her skills and career aspirations."

"Michelle set up the Enterprise Transformation team and worked with the Fund to help form the roadmap and foundations to deliver this critical piece of work. Cbus has experienced significant growth over the last few years with the Fund expecting to grow to more than $60 billion in funds under management within the next four to five years. We thank Michelle for her efforts and wish her all the best in her future endeavours."

Cbus has confirmed that an executive recruitment search is underway.
