Cbus appoints Infrastructure Transaction Specialist

Alex Miller has joined Cbus, the $34 billion super fund for the construction, building and allied industries, as an infrastructure transaction specialist in the fund's private markets team. The appointment is part of Cbus' expansion of its in-house investment capability.

Miller, who will be based in Cbus' Sydney office, has more than 18 years' of experience in originating and executing greenfield and brownfield infrastructure transactions, most recently in KPMG's infrastructure and projects team and previously as a director at BOS International.

Cbus has also announced two other key investment strategy appointments, with Linda Cunningham joining the fund as manager of debt, and Anna Weikart joining as a senior investment analyst - both within the public markets team.

Commenting on the appointments, Kristian Fok, Cbus' executive manager, investment strategy said: "We are so pleased to welcome Linda, Anna and Alex, bringing their depth of experience and talent to the team. We're looking to appoint a significant number of new roles in the next few months as we go through our capability building stage. Continuing to attract people of this calibre this will put us in a great position for future growth."
