CBA Group Super CEO to retire

Commonwealth Bank Group Super chief executive Doug Carmichael has announced his retirement, after nine years in the role. The news was shared with CBA employees last week.

Since 2010, Carmichael - who was previously general manager of strategic operations and risk management for Australian Administration Services - has led the trustee services team assisting the Group Super board in the development and execution of strategies to achieve member satisfaction, fund growth and member retention, the fund said.

Carmichael will depart the fund in mid-July 2019. The search for his successor is underway.
