CBA appoints new EGM Commonwealth Private

The Commonwealth Bank has confirmed the appointment of Marianne Perkovic as executive general manager Commonwealth Private.

Private Banking is part of the Group's Business & Private Banking division led by group executive Adam Bennett.

She replaces Adrian Hondros, who stepped down from the role in July to take up a new role outside of the finance industry.

Perkovic joined the Commonwealth Bank Group in January 2010 as Colonial First State's general manager distribution, and has been leading the Group's Wealth Management Advice business for the past four years.

Commenting on the appointment, Bennett said: "I am delighted Marianne will be leading our private banking business. We are fortunate to have attracted such a talented and experienced internal candidate to this key leadership role."
