CareSuper appoints Horskins as CFO

CareSuper has appointed former VicSuper CFO Sam Horskins as its new chief financial officer.

Horskins spent more than three years with VicSuper including during its merger with First State Super, now Aware Super. He was responsible for finance, investment operations, fund operations, and project management for the fund. He was previously spent time in the insurance industry as CFO for Guild Group from 2008-2017, helping reorganise the organisation following the GFC to focus on general insurance, super, and insurance litigation services.He started his career in financial services with Ernst & Young.

CareSuper chief executive Julie Lander welcomed Horskins to the fund, noting that his extensive experience will augment the strategic capabilities of the executive team. "We are delighted that an executive of Sam's calibre has joined the fund."
