CareSuper has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Jeremy Johnson as an employer director on the $13 billion fund's board, effective 1 January 2018.
Johnson was nominated by the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Johnson is the chief executive officer of historical goldfields town, Sovereign Hill, and has held leadership roles in a range of industries, including in sports and recreation, charitable organisations, education and tourism.
From 1972 to 1994, he held various senior positions in local government, including as Shire Secretary and Treasurer for the Shires of Ballan and Ballarat. Currently, he is chair of Central Highlands Water Board and president of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
