Global financial services firm BTIG has hired their new CEO from UBS in New York. Andrew Dalgleish has more than 20 years leading several successful financial services institutions in the US, Europe, Africa and Australia.
Before serving for four years at UBS in New York, Dalgleish was the head of institutional client solutions and head of institutional group funds at UBS in Sydney.
BTIG Asia-Pacific Limited CEO Craig Reilly says they're confident that Dalgleish will build on the momentum the business has established. "As a seasoned leader, we anticipate that he will be a tremendous asset to our team and clients. We believe Andrew will help us to further increase our brand recognition in the marketplace and drive future growth."
Managing director Richard Jacklin says that Dalgleish's international experience is essential to his success with BTIG. "[His] understanding of the Australian market enables him to meaningfully enhance our local coverage and offering in the region. We plan to leverage his expertise to accelerate growth in Australia and throughout our products worldwide."
BTIG established it Sydney operations in 2008 and has operations in 18 cities around the world.
