BT Investment Management (BTIM) has appointed Michael Bargholz as chief executive officer and as a member of the firm's global executive committee.
Bargholz has 25 years' industry experience, including three years in his most recent role as managing director of Fidelity International.
BTIM group CEO and managing director, Emilio Gonzalez commented on Bargholz's appointment saying that he has the "skills, experience and personal attributes" to successfully lead the investment management team in Australia.
"I am delighted to welcome Michael Bargholz to the BTIM group...Michael is an outstanding investment management executive with a distinguished career."
Bargholz will commence his role in October 2016 and said that he looks forward to contributing to the "continued growth and success of BTIM".
