National Manager, Acquisitions and Servicing named for BT life team

BT Financial Group (BTFG) has announced the appointment of Mark Bower as national manager, acquisitions and servicing, effective June 2017.

In this role, Bower will be responsible for strengthening the team's service delivery to advisers. He has over 20 years' experience in life insurance, having previously worked for Asteron Life and TAL.

BTFG has also announced that Kim Cohen is joining its insurance arm as head of product. Previously, Cohen spent eight years working with BT's insurance team and rejoins following two years at Pacific Life Re where she was a director, product development.

Commenting on their appointments, head of life insurance operations, Scott Moffitt, said: "Both Kim and Mark bring with them a wealth of experience, a customer-focused approach and a steadfast belief in the important role that insurance plays in helping Australians protect their families. We warmly welcome both of them to the life insurance team."
