BlackRock Australia appoints VP and iShares Specialist
BlackRock Australia has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of James Waterworth as a vice president and iShares specialist, effective September 2017.
Based in Melbourne and reporting to Alex Zaika, head of wealth for BlackRock's iShares business in Australia, Waterworth is responsible for growing the iShares business in the wealth advisory segment across the Southern region.
Waterworth previously worked for BlackRock in London as vice president within the EMEA corporate strategy and iShares UK & Ireland sales teams before he joined Société Générale's Lyxor Asset Management as director of UK & Ireland ETF sales. He began his career in Sydney at UBS in equity derivatives sales.
Joining him at BlackRock are new hires, Scarlett Dorney, director of client business, and Jeannie Bredberg, director of retail client business.
