BetaShares adds two executives

BetaShares has bolstered its adviser services team with a senior hire and promotion.

The Australian fund manager has appointed John Bezich state manager for Western Australia and promoted Blair Modica to the same position for Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.

Bezich will lead Betashares' distribution and client service efforts in Western Australia, while Modica takes on the same responsibilities for his three territories.

Bezich arrives with nearly 15 years of experience in distribution roles with B, Netwealth, Westpac and AMP.

Blair has been at Betashares for nearly six years in distribution roles.

Announcing the appointments, BetaShares head of distribution and capital market Peter Harper noted the large size of the client services teams dedicated to assisting financial advisers in Australia.

The appointment of John and promotion for Blair will ensure our well-rounded team can continue meeting the needs of financial advisers and maintain the highest level of client service," he said.

"As part of our growing team, John and Blair are both on hand as a dedicated resource for financial advisers in their respective home states. Their experience and understanding of the benefits of ETFs will no doubt be a valuable resource for clients in those locations.

"As well as expanding our team, we are also investing in the services available to financial advisers, including a growing range of ETF-based model portfolios, separately managed accounts and the creation of a new Practice Development offering," Harper concluded.
