BetaShares appoints Sydney based National Manager

Australian ETF manager, BetaShares, has announced the appointment of Tamas Calderwood as national manager, adviser services, effective January 2018.

Based in Sydney, Calderwood has over 20 years' experience in financial services. Most recently he was vice president of client coverage at index provider, MSCI, and previously held roles at CIBC World Markets, Bloomberg, and ANZ, working in London, New York, Edinburgh, Dublin and Sydney.

BetaShares has also announced the establishment of a Queensland presence with a new Brisbane office and the appointment of Craig Higson, who joins as a national manager, adviser services. The firm has also appointed Victorian based business development manager, Blair Modica.
