BetaShares appoints Chief Economist

ETF provider BetaShares has announced the appointment of David Bassanese as chief economist. In the newly formed role, Bassanese will be responsible for developing economic insights and portfolio construction strategies for adviser and retail clients. Bassanese has an accomplished background in financial services spanning over 25 years, with his most recent role being an economic columnist for The Australian Financial Review for over a decade.
