Bell joins Bellmont from Aberdeen Standard

Ben Bell has joined Bellmont Securities as a sales manager for adviser solutions. In his new role, Bell will work with financial advice groups to create cost-effective managed account portfolio solutions.

Bell joins from Aberdeen Standard Investments where he spent nearly 12 years, the last three as associate director of wholesale sales. He also spent time with Credit Suisse and Towers Perrin.

"Growth in the managed account space has really picked up in the last 18 months," said Bellmont co-founder Peter Bell. He says this trend of outsourcing investment management functions has necessitated the need for more support in Bellmont's adviser space. "The last few years have been a great test of the robustness of an investment manager's approach, and we're really proud to have come through this period with some strong returns for our clients."
