Bell Financial Group adds industry vet to board

The chair of Bell Asset Management, Christine Feldmanis, has joined the board of Bell Financial Group, the parent company of Bell Potter Securities and Bell Potter Capital.

In a statement, the company said they were excited by the extensive experience and knowledge Feldmanis brings to their board. "Feldmanis has extensive industry knowledge of financial markets, and significant experience in business operations, finance, risk management and governance," they said.

"She is an experienced director with appointments across the spectrum of private and public companies, government organisations and not-for-profits."

Feldmanis holds several directorships currently, including with Perpetual Equity Investment Company, IMF Bentham, Hunter Water, and FIIG Securities. In the past, she was the chair for Celeste Funds Management and was the CFO for the NSW Treasury Corp.

Bell Financial Group released its full year results earlier this month, recording a post-tax profit of $32.4 million, up more than 30%.
