AWI names new CEO & MD

In a statement to the ASX, Australasian Wealth Investments Group (AWI) has announced the appointment of Ron Hodge as the firm's new chief executive officer and managing director. He has been promoted from the role of chief operating officer.

Hodge has more than 20 years' experience in the retail financial services industry and was co-founder of InvestSMART in 1999. He joined AWI in September 2013, when AWI purchased InvestSMART and ran that business up until his appointment as AWI COO in March 2015.
