Australian Unity Wealth appoints EGM - Advice from ANZ Dealer Group

Australian Unity Wealth and Capital Markets has announced the appointment of Matthew Brown as executive general manager - advice.

In this role, he will report to David Bryant, CEO of Australian Unity's Wealth and Capital Markets business.

Brown is currently a senior executive within ANZ Wealth, serving as CEO of the Millennium 3 and Financial Services Partners subsidiaries, a role he was appointed to in September 2015 and will depart on 1 June.

He has previously held roles with Colonial First State, notably as head of advice development, and Financial Wisdom.

Commenting on the new hire, Bryant said: "With the growing scrutiny around the financial services industry, it's important that independent and trusted institutions like Australian Unity are leading the way in providing quality and transparent advice that is in the best interest of customers."
