Australian Unity appoints Head of Partnerships

Australian Unity has announced the appointment of Benson Saulo as head of partnerships, wealth and capital markets within the firm's investments business.

Saulo will move into the newly-created role from Australian Unity's brand team where he has been head of community since 2016.

The new role will focus on growing community-based partnerships as well as building and managing stakeholder and investor relationships as the business augments its sustainable investing offering, the firm said.

Geraldine Barlow, Australian Unity's executive general manager, investments, said of Saulo's appointment: "Benson's experience, outstanding leadership skills, and strong connections with a large number of community organisations will be instrumental as we continue to develop our partnerships and offering in the responsible investment space."
