Australia Retirement Trust has snared a top credit specialist from a leading non-bank corporate lender.
The superannuation giant confirmed that Julia Humphries has joined the private credit corporate assets team as a senior portfolio manager - private debt and alternatives.
The private credit expert Julia Humphries joins the $260 billion fund from Metrics Credit Partners.
For five years, she worked across key lending areas, including corporate lending, private equity-sponsored borrowers, project and infrastructure transactions and commercial real estate.
Humphries previously worked at UBS as executive director of leveraged loan capital markets.
Earlier, she held a similarly senior role at Goldman Sachs in the US and covered opportunistic credit and special situations for the Lowy Family Office.
Previously, she was a senior investment analyst at BNY Mellon and a trading desk securities analyst at Barclays Capital.
She covered high-yield and distressed bonds, restructurings, and other special situations at both banks.
