Australian Ethical Director departs

Australian Ethical Investment has confirmed the departure of board director Tony Cole, effective 30 June 2017.

Cole, who served on the Australian Ethical board from February 2013, has 17 years' experience as an investment consultant with Mercer and previously held senior positions in the Commonwealth Public Service, including as secretary to the treasury, secretary of the Department of Health and social security, deputy secretary to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and chair of the Industry Commission (now the Productivity Commission).

His successor at Australian Ethical is Michael Monaghan.
