Australian COO departs GMO

GMO's Australian chief operating officer Peter Manley has departed the global asset management firm. In a brief statement the firm confirmed that both Manley and Australian CEO Glen Howard had resigned and that client services executive Zane Bernstein had taken over Howard's responsibilities overseeing client and consultant relations as well as business development in Australia and the Asia Pacific. GMO has a policy of not commenting on staff departures so no further detail on Peter Manley's role is available.
