Austock Group Director steps down

Austock Group has announced that Eric Barr is stepping down from its board, effective 22 November 2017.

Barr was appointed as a director and chair of Austock Group on 7 March 2017. He stepped down from his role as chair on 18 July 2017 following the appointment of executive chair, Rob Coombes.

Previously, Barr worked for 20 years as tax partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers before retiring in 2000, Currently, he is the deputy chair of Beacon Lighting Group and the chair of Sydney Stock Exchange.

Austock Group has also announced the departure of board director, Ross Higgins. Higgins is also stepping down from his executive role as CEO of Austock Life but will stay on as a board director

Barr will also remain as a director on the Austock Life board, a role he was appointed to in 2015.
