AUSIEX announces leadership team
The integrated trading and asset administration solution of CommSec has been launched as a standalone business. AUSIEX specialises in equities execution, clearing & settlement services, and equities administration.
AUSIEX was acquired in 2021 by Nomura Research Institute (NRI), a global technology and operations services provider.
Eric Blewitt, who spent the last eight years as general manager for CommSec Adviser Services (CAS) has come across with AUSIEX as its new chief executive officer.
In this new role, Blewitt is focused on leading the organisation toward the goal of becoming Australia's leading provider of trading and asset administration solutions.
Before joining CommSec, Blewitt spent time as the COO of researcher Investment Trends and was the GM of Leveraged Equities. He also held distribution and sales roles with MP, NPI, and The Prudential Assurance Co.
The additional members of the AUSIEX executive team include former CAS head of distribution Andrew Stewart as head of product and sales, Patrick Salis as CFO, Matthew Tilley as head of markets and client solutions, Stephen Zilioli as head of institutional development.
