Ausbil has confirmed that chief operating officer (COO), Simon Blakers, has departed the firm, effective 10 March 2017.
Blakers joined as COO in December 2014, replacing former COO Mark Reilly, who held the role for 10 years.
Prior to his time with Ausbil, Blakers was the group head of risk and insurance at Lend Lease.
A spokesperson for the firm said that Blakers' responsibilities have been redistributed between newly-minted CEO, Ross Youngman; chief compliance officer and general counsel, Jane Lamming; and manager operations, Stephen Maloney.
