ASX vet joins Chi-X

Chi-X Australia has appointed former National Stock Exchange head of admissions John Williams as its new deputy chief operating officer.

Williams has significant experience with Australia's stock exchanges, having previously spent more than a decade with the ASX in a variety of roles including GM of listings operations and senior manager of market access.

"We are excited to welcome John to the Chi-X team," said CEO Vic Jokovic. "His deep knowledge of financial technology systems, infrastructure and strategy makes him a valuable addition to our management team."

In his new role - a new one for the organisation - Williams will be responsible for the execution of the day-to-day operational business strategy including customer service.
