Asset Consultant and Research Manager departs Vanguard

Angus McLeod has confirmed to Industry Moves his departure from the role of asset consultant and research manager at Vanguard Investments Australia, effective 9 February 2018.

McLeod first joined Vanguard in July 2008 as a portfolio manager, equities, and was appointed to his most recent role in March 2016.

Prior to Vanguard, he worked at IFM Investors as an investment director in listed equities and spent nearly five years as a portfolio manager with Colonial First State.

Commenting on his time with Vanguard, McLeod said: "I'm grateful for the broad opportunities I was given. Vanguard is a strong advocate for investors' interests and a solid performer in the index fund arena. They're a top beta shop and I'm proud to have worked there."

McLeod is currently looking for new opportunities in the industry.
