ART PM jumps to Cbus Super

Cbus has appointed Anna Gavaghan as an associate, private markets hiring from Australian Retirement Trust.

Cbus said Gavaghan was hired largely to support the head of private markets and Infrastructure, Alexandra Campbell, in managing across the superannuation fund's three private markets portfolios.

Gavaghan joined ART as a portfolio manager within its global real assets team one year ago.

She is a former Tasplan Super executive.

There, she headed up the asset owner's unlisted investments for almost four years, departing before it merged with MTAA Super to become Spirit Super.

Gavaghan joined Tasplan from Charter Hall, where she did a five-year stint as a regional portfolio manager.

In 2010, she began her career in finance at the Goodman Group as a property manager.
