ANZ Wealth Head of Research to join Mercer

ANZ Wealth has confirmed to Industry Moves the departure of William Burkitt, head of investment product and research, effective 24 January 2018.

Burkitt leaves to take on a new career opportunity with Mercer, the exact details of which will be released in the coming weeks.

In a statement from Mercer, a spokesperson said: "In offering a different kind of solution, Mr Burkitt will be leading an initiative to explore how Mercer can participate in, and add value, within the senior-living, aged-care and post-retirement space leveraging Mercer's capabilities in the Health, Wealth and Career domains."

A spokesperson for ANZ said that the firm "will work with [Burkitt] and the team to ensure a smooth transition" and wished him all the best for the future.
