AMP Capital loses head of market solutions team

Lydia Serafim is set to leave AMP Capital, where she has spent more than 20 years.

Serafim is the head of the market solutions team within the AMP Capital multi-asset group, the team that managers single-sector funds across equities, fixed income, property, and alternative investments across Australia and international markets.

Serafim has been with the multi-asset group since 2008, coming from AMP Capitals' fixed interest team. During her time with the organisation, Serafim has been portfolio controller and co-head of quantitative analysis and risk management.

Before joining AMP Capital, Serafim spent time with GIO Asset Management, which was acquired by AMP in 1999.

In comments to Financial Standard, a spokesperson for AMP Capital said, "Lydia made a strong contribution to AMP Capital over her 25 years of service. We wish her all the best for the future."
