Alphinity appoints Senior Research Analyst
Alphinity Investment Management (Alphinity) has announced the appointment of Stuart Welch to the newly-created role of senior research analyst, effective July 2017.
Welch, who has almost 20 years' Australian and global financial markets experience, previously spent seven years as an investment analyst at Fidelity International Australia, covering a range of sectors, including healthcare, banks, diversified financials, infrastructure and transport.
In his new role, he will continue to cover health care as well as transport and infrastructure.
Alphinity has also announced the appointment of Richard Hitchens to the existing role of senior quantitative analyst, serving both the Australian and Global Equities teams. He replaces Alphinity veteran Shane Kelly who is relocating to the United Kingdom.
