Allianz names new Chief GM Market Management

Allianz Australia has appointed John Myler as chief general manager market management, effective 1 February 2016.

Myler has 20 years' experience in the insurance industry, most recently as the chief executive officer of Allianz Global Assistance - Australia (AGA). He also previously held the position of general manager - direct at Allianz Australia.

Commenting on the appointment, Allianz managing director Niran Peiris said: "I am looking forward to working with John in his new role as head of Market Management. I am confident John will make a strong contribution to our business and his drive and ideas will help us deliver continued success."
