Allianz appoints chief sales officer

Allianz Partners Australia has named Aimee McGuinness as its chief sales officer.

McGuinness has a history with the organisation, spending the last three years as chief underwriting officer. During her dozen years with the organisation, McGuinness has also held product management roles with the organisation's travel and health products.

This is a return to a sales focus for McGuinness, who joined the organisation in an account management role. She's also been national sales manager for B2C and travel products, holding end-to-end sales and marking responsibilities for direct travel brands.

"Aimee has had an outstanding career in Allianz Partners spanning the globe and many functions including Sales, Business Development, e-commerce and Underwriting," said Miranda Fennell, Acting CEO Allianz Partners Australia. "Aimee brings passion and energy to her work and I look forward to supporting her vision for how Allianz Partners Australia can grow and support our partners and customers over the coming years."

Allianz Partners say they'll begin recruiting for a new chief underwriting officer in the coming weeks.
