Allan Gray appoints Analyst

Allan Gray Australia (Allan Gray) has confirmed the appointment of engineer Gitendra Pradhananga as an analyst with the firm, effective June 2017.

Pradhananga joins from infrastructure construction, roadworks and aggregate supplier, Fulton Hogan.

Allan Gray has also announced the appointment of fellow-analyst Dr James (Yi-Chan) Lee, a former academic from the University of Sydney.

Pradhananga and Lee's appointments follow the departure of analyst Anna Lopatnikova and portfolio manager Dan Abeshouse, who both left the firm in May 2017.

A spokesperson said that the changes have "given Allan Gray the opportunity to bring more diversity to the investment team."
