Alexander grows sales team

Alexander Funds has recruited James Curnow as a regional manager for New South Wales and Queensland.

His appointment coincides with the opening of the fund's first interstate office.

Reporting to the  firm's distribution head, Chris Inifer, Curnow joins from Zenith Investment Partners where his most recent role was business development manager assisting with growth into the New South Wales market.

Earlier, he spent four years at BlackRock Investment Management and held several roles in BT Financial Group's former advice division.

Inifer said Alexander Funds has seen growth in opportunities with advisers in New South Wales and Queensland and Curnow's addition to the business will allow the fund to expand its coverage of that market.

"James has worked with a variety of businesses in the Australian wealth market implementing traditional managed funds, separately managed accounts, and exchange-traded products.

"His experience affords him unique insights into the provision of multi-asset portfolios for both wholesale and retail advisory practices.

"He will be a powerful addition to the Alexander Funds distribution team.
