The Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) has today announced the resignation of AIST President Angela Emslie, who has served on the board of AIST, and before that CMSF, for a total of 19 years.

Commenting on her resignation, Emslie said: "I would like to thank everyone who has worked with me over the many years that I have been on the AIST Board. It has been a great privilege to help shape the not-for-profit super system and I'm confident that there is plenty of talent to continue our important work well into the future."

In thanking Emslie for her contribution, AIST CEO Tom Garcia said: "Angela has devoted a significant amount of time and energy into ensuring AIST delivers for members. She has been a very passionate voice advocating the benefits of not for profit super and helping enhance AIST's services for fund staff and directors."

Other changes to the Board include the appointment of trustee elected directors Catherine Bolger and Craig Peate, and the appointment of staff elected director Mark Puli. Departing from the board are Stephen Pratt, Kate Andrews, Sue Gould, Danielle Press and former AIST President Cate Wood.
