Life insurer AIA Australia has appointed Renae Smith to the role of chief marketing officer, replacing Tim Tez who moved to MetLife in December 2014. Smith has over 18 years' experience in marketing roles and joins AIA Australia from GE Capital A&NZ where she was head of marketing & portfolio management. In the new role, Smith will lead a team of 41 people across a number of business areas including AIA Vitality, retail pricing and product development, and marketing.
