AFA adds to leadership team with marketing GM

Candice Spence has been named general manager of marketing for the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA.

Spence has more than 25 years of experience in marketing and communications with organisations including BT, Zurich, and IOOF.

She is joined at the AFA by Cameron Burne, who has been named GM of partnerships.

"We are delighted to be welcoming Candice and Cameron to the AFA team," said AFA acting CEO Phil Anderson. "They are both highly-skilled, seasoned professionals that join the AFA as we celebrate our 75th anniversary and build on our solid foundations. They will be integral to helping the AFA achieve its strategic objectives and mission to support our essential and valuable advice community."

Spence started with the AFA in April.
