The Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI) has announced the departure of president, Gerard Noonan, at the end of his term, effective August 2017.
Noonan is currently chair of Media Super and was appointed as ACSI's president on 9 May 2011.
Replacing Noonan is AustralianSuper CEO, Ian Silk, with Antony Thow stepping in as deputy chair, replacing Cbus' Trish Donohue.
In acknowledging Noonan and Donohue's service, ACSI CEO, Louise Davidson, said: "Both have played a very significant role in ACSI's development."
She added: "As President, Gerard has been a passionate champion of the role of superannuation funds as active owners of the companies in which they invest."
