The Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI) last week announced the appointment of Louise Davidson as its new chief executive officer, effective 27 April. Davidson is currently the environmental, social and governance investment manager at the $30 billion industry super fund Cbus and long-standing chair of the Mother's Day Classic fun run for breast cancer research.
She has a long track record in institutional investment through her work at IFM Investors and Cbus. She was also chair of the PRI Australia Network and secretary of the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC). In 2013, she was listed in the Australian Financial Review's '100 Women of Influence'.
She takes over the role of ACSI CEO from Gordon Hagart, who is returning to Europe.
