Heitman Global Prime Real Estate Trust

Global real estate investment management firm Heitman LLC has launched the Heitman Global Prime Real Estate Trust - a benchmark-unaware, diversified portfolio of publicly traded global real estate securities - in Australia.

Equity trustees has been appointed as trustee for the Australian vehicle which has already been seeded with a $128.5 million investment by a local superannuation fund.

The strategy provides investors exposure to property assets in global gateway markets and invests in multi-sector opportunities, transnational positioning, and specialised investment opportunities or niche industries servicing local regions.
