Firetrail Australian High Conviction Fund
Pinnacle Investments' new boutique, Firetrail Investments, has launched the Firetrail Australian High Conviction Fund, a concentrated Australian equities fund of approximately 25 Australian companies.
The fund aims to outperform the S&P/ASX 200 Accumulation Index over the medium to long term, via an unconstrained approach to fundamental research, which identifies companies Firetrail believes offer the most attractive forecast returns.
The suggested investment time frame is at least five years, and the fund is managed by former Macquarie equities team James Miller, Patrick Hodgens, and Blake Henricks.
Firetrail has also launched the Firetrail Absolute Return Fund.
