ETF Securities FANG+ ETF

ETF Securities has launched a new exchange traded fund - FANG+ ETF (ASX Code: FANG) - which tracks the New York Stock Exchange's FANG+ index.

The NYSE FANG+ Index is made up of ten of the world's most innovative and highly traded growth stocks in the tech and internet/media sectors. The ten companies in the index are: Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google (Alphabet), Alibaba, Baidu, NVIDIA, Tesla and Twitter.

"The NYSE FANG+ Index and the FANG ETF ... provides exposure to megatrend themes such as online trade, entertainment and storage via these ten stocks in the consumer discretionary and technology sectors on the major U.S. stock exchanges," Kris Walesby, chief executive officer of ETF Securities, said.

"As per the structure of the FANG+ index, each company will be equally weighted in the FANG+ ETF, providing a unique performance benchmark that allows for a more value-driven approach to investing."
