Cromwell Phoenix Property Securities Fund - Re-opens to investors

Cromwell Funds Management Limited (Cromwell) has announced the Cromwell Phoenix Property Securities Fund (the Fund) has reopened.

The Fund, which was last open to new investors in February 2015, reopened on 29 September with additional capacity of $30 million.

According to Cromwell, the Fund aims to deliver a total return (after fees) in excess of the S&P/ASX 300 A-REIT Accumulation Index over three to five years with lower overall volatility of capital.

The investment strategy of the Fund is to provide investors with exposure to a broad range of Australian Securities Exchange listed property stocks which hold underlying investments including office, retail, industrial and hotel assets.

Hamish Wehl, head of retail funds management at Cromwell, said: "This is a unique opportunity to access one of the top-performing property securities funds in Australia. The fund has been a consistent top performer and this reflects the skill of the Phoenix Portfolios investment team."

He added: "The Fund is truly benchmark unaware and actively managed, as indicated by the clear variance between the Fund's portfolio and the S&P/ASX 300 A-REIT Accumulation Index."

The launch date below refers to the date the Fund reopened to investors. The Fund was launched in April 2008.
